On
1st November 1995, the University of Illinois Press published
a hardcover book called When Truth Was Treason: German
Youth against Hitler: The Story of the Helmuth Hübener
Group Based on the Narrative of Karl-Heinz Schnibbe compiled,
translated and edited by Blair R Holmes and Alan F. Keele.
Dr
Alan Keele, a professor of German language and literature
at Brigham Young University, would later be interviewed on
film for Matt Whitaker's 2002 documentary, Truth and Conviction,
and whose interview footage would finally find its way to
the 2007 first teaser
trailer for Truth & Treason.
